It’s ridiculous how hot my phone gets after opening the DBS app. Phone remake hot for 3-4 minutes even after closing the app. What is so special about local bank apps that it requires the processors to run at maximum capacity?

** same for me ... I can literally feel the phone heating up within seconds after opening app. It’s terrible. Left 1 star review on the App Store. Hope they wake up their idea.

Funny thing is these heat issues are happening only on iPhones. My Android phones are fine with both DBS and UOB. Could it really be iOS issue?

after updating my X it was draining batt for a few days then back to normal. can still get about 5hrs SOT on 82% batt health.

I have no issue on my 11 pro max.

The only banking app i use for longer periods is uob. The rest not much time spent on them. And in recent months i do notice uob app makes my 11PM warm. Think it was after iOS14.

Yeah. Used to be only DBS/POSB banking apps which makes iPhone 11 Pro Max heated up. Now UOB also joined in after iOS 14....

Other banking apps no such issue lo.....

Yeah. Used to be only DBS/POSB banking apps which makes iPhone 11 Pro Max heated up. Now UOB also joined in after iOS 14....

Other banking apps no such issue lo.....

Seems like OCBC app joining in the warming up of iPhones...
