Hi I just got an iphone 14 , how do I migrate my WhatsApp from Android phone to my iphone 14? I have already set up the iphone 14 per my preference, just need to migrate WhatsApp from Android to iphone 14 after I have backed up the latest chat activities. I'm used to migrating from Android to Android using Google back up and restore but I just realized iphone cannot restore from a Google back up. Thanks all.

I have seen this but as my iphone is already set up to my preference I am hoping I do not have to factory reset it like in the video. Is the factory reset a must? Thank you.

My mom has iphone 14 as primary WA, and wants to use her old iphone xr as secondary, but there's no option to Link to an Existing Device on the Iphone XR after clicking on Agree & Continue on the Welcome to WhatsApp screen. It goes straight to enter phone number with no 3 dots on the top right corner to click.

Hope it will progressively be available for iPhone tho. I find the function useful personally, as I have multiple whatsapp numbers/accounts.

yes, but somehow unlike on Android phones where you can click on the 3 dots to open the menu to click on the Link Devices, there's none for the Iphone on the screen where it asks you to enter your phone number. So you can't proceed.

Btw we can Link devices on iPhone via QR now. Not sure when did they rolled out this function but it works now. Tried for WA Business, not too sure about normal WhatsApp app.
