How much is a typical repair of the iPhone 3GS home button?
Now it is getting much more difficult to get the home button working, had to press much harder.

I am comparing the cost of repair versus getting another used set.

Anyone good reliable repair shop to recommend, real good after-sales service.

Better to get another used set.
3GS is pretty much outdated, hard to source for parts etc.

20 bucks if you go sim lim. but no point cos after a while same thing happen. Suspect could be the internal component or circuit board issue liao.

20-30 bucks 3gs u expect a good after sales service?they will just repair and Fxxx it

how reliable u want?u are replacing a home button only not lcd or other parts. find any shop and repair. save ur trouble for looking and asking around for a "RELIABLE" shop

It cost about $20-$25 bucks to get it fixed. Any mobile shops can do it.

But it's pointless. Because they might screw up your phone while fixing, and then more problems will occur. Even if you do get it fixed, it would work for only a couple of weeks, then the home button will be insensitive again.

I got mine done for $40 at Far East Plaza about 2 years ago.

Until now still working fine.
