would welcome any advise...
during spring cleaning i found my old iphone 3GS (bought in msia).
powering up the phone looks good until i did a master reset via itunes, after reset now i am unable to setup my iphone due to SIM card not supported.
i googled around, and found that the old 3GS has a sim card lock function by the telco (mine was Hotlink). but now i am in SG and there is no network.
anyone knows how do i unlock the phone to be able to use in Singapore?
so far i went around the shops and service providers and the only solution i got was to either jailbreak or to go back to Hotlink and ask them to unlock for a fee.
