iPhone 5S Weak WiFi ?

Hi,

Anyone encountering the issue that the WiFi connectivity on the iPhone 5S is incredibly weak ? My iPad Air is receiving like 4 bars in the room but the iPhone keeps dropping the WiFi connection...

Any ideas ?

No ..... mine is working just fine. Could it be due to the type of router you are using?

I travel fairly frequently and I find that sometimes, I can't connect to the hotel's/airport lounge's wifi using my iPhone whilst my iPad can do so easily.

As my family uses a lot of Apple products, we use an Apple Airport Extreme at home and that works flawlessly for everyone across all our devices.

Are you using a Case?
Remove the case and try again.

My 5s wifi is weaker than my 1st gen ipad mini but not to the extend of incredibly weak..

I'm using Apple Time Capsule... The connection works great on my iMac, Macbook Air and iPad Air but not for my iPhone 5s!

That's why I thought it was weird.

No issue on mine using Asus ac66 it might be the case interfance or router is weaker ?

That's very strange indeed. I don't have that problem. We are using Apple Airport Extreme with iMac, MBP, MBA, iPad and iPhone 5 and 5S. No complaints from anyone.
