Iphone 7+ Home Button Cracked

Hu guys,

My iPhone 7+ home button just cracked for no reason at all. The touch ID is not working.. does anyone know where I can find reliable repair shops to fix this and the estimated cost?

Or is apple the only place to go? Understand that an iphone 7 is pretty hard to repair due to Apple's security..

why cracked for no reason?
can try playyourconsoles or iFixit or maybe you go apple store there see what they advise you

only way is to go Apple for repair. do not go to other 3rd party repair shop.

as ur home button is "paired" with your mainboard, putting another home button will render ur touchid useless + nag message

Was quoted up to $440 to get the whole device replaced (if unable to fix). Guess I'll just head down to Apple Store later...

Went to the Apple Orchard and I was told that there is a Genius Bar there. Try booking an appointment using the Apple Support app. Not sure if they do extensive repairs but worth the try.

I've talked to apple support and it is listed under accidental damage thats why

unless he alwasy yse the finger nail or sharp object to poke
maybe key and phone in one pocket ahah
