iphone and ipad call

Just now i received a call but the ipad rang and i answered on it? Myipad is wifi only. Why does it receive the call too?

Yes.. Update from IOS. U can switch off either one of it through the setting-face time- iPhone cellular calls and Off it. When u r signed into iCloud (same account) and same wifi it will ring on all devices nearby. Quite cool if u ask me!

U can use your iPad to make call also with your iPhone n iPad connect to same wifi and same Apple ID.. Simply press on FaceTime on iPad then call.. Lol
