Iphone batteries drop so fast

My iphone 13 pro max bought last nov now 92% battery.
Battery didnt drop any for 4 months.
drop to 98% after 6 months.
drop to 96% after 8 months.
This month drop 4%

Previous iphone 12 pro max 88% after 1 year
Previous iphone 11 pro max 90% after 1 year

Is it normal?

Seems ok leh. Did you change your usage and charging pattern? And also the temperature it operates at matters.

in some cases, the batt can drop to the Low 80s by the end of the 2 years, not Low enough to get a battery replacement for free if on apple care.

then stuck there for super long thereafter

My 11 pro max 94%, got it since launch so close to 3 years now??

Luck? , usage wise i play games and watch movies etc for hours.

Only thing i never do is to charge overnight / overcharge the device

Depends on your usage and charging routine. Mine as of now, both since launch date.

12 Pro Max - 93%
13 Pro Max - 100%

Mine's on cable charging at least 95% of the time and I charge to full as and when needed, even when batt still has over 80% charge. no overnight charging.

I do overnight charging as i need the 100%…

When iphone 13 pro max is new, i reach home left 10-20% after 10 hours.
Now need use power bank for 1hr if not cant last 10 hours.

I agree overnight charing and usage spoils the battery fast.

But one month drop 96% to 92% suddenly so jia lat

My iphone 11 pro max not long hours gaming or long usage only drop 5% after a year.

if u charge n use at e same time doing tasks like watch videos, play game (especially this) e battery life will drop. cos of e high heat subjected to e phone.. anyway 92% is still within e warranty parameter so..

btw overnight charging spoiling e battery is a myth tbh. once my phone finishes charging there's no more heat which likely means e charging has stopped or very low trickle charge.

my 13 pm bought at launch is plugged in every night when i sleep and on wireless charging stand in the end during work (a lot of heat) and it’s 97% now. still acceptable for me.

Same here. Recent weeks I discovered that I will need to charge my 13PM daily. Used to be once in 2-3 days. Also now I charge till 80-90% full and not 100%. Maybe need to use till below 10% and charge till full to calibrate?

Mine at 97%. I think that iPhone 13PM has much battery or charging logic. I don’t even use the change to 80% function. Like to see my battery at 100% or close to it at all times
