I think it also depends on the wordings of the SMS you’re receiving. For some reason I also had same problem with one local bank Otp message but not others

Highly dependent on the app you’re using. Some apps/websites do not support this feature and thus you have to enter the authorisation code manually. However, with that being said, if this is happening to an app that used to be able to do so, I’d suggest that you first back up your phone and run a software update if it is available, alternatively, test the same app if possible on another iPhone like a family member’s to go through the process of elimination.

Agree. Back up everything then re download the apps. Always better to do this way!
