That $19 is just for the nano layer SP only.. not inner display my fren lol..
I know, the 1st layer is likely the only one that will be scratched.

Recently when my AC+ expired after year 3, I was given an option to extend.

I asked the staff at Orchard and was told that indeed extension is now available in Singapore. Previously I extended a Japan set with no issues
thanks, this is good to know for me. Now I much prefer to go for AC+

I bought AC+ for my 17PM (Apple store set) recently and previously for my 14PM and 15PM (Both HK set) don't need proof of purchase either, AC+ all walk in purchase in apple store.
So just diagnostics and then all good for AC+ purchase?
Guess I met someone that is "by the book" then. :s22:

Best way to get an iPhone on launch day in Singapore without paying a markup?

I’m buying it for personal use, not for resale.

When I pre-ordered on the 16th, I initially saw an option to pick it up at Apple MBS on the 23rd (launch day). However, after completing payment, my order suddenly changed to December delivery. 😭

As an Apple fan who has managed to get my new iPhone on launch day every single year (since 3G), this is honestly pretty disappointing.

I’m trying to figure out my best option for this Friday without paying any markup to resellers.

A few questions:

  1. Apple pre-order: How likely is it that Apple will move delivery dates forward significantly? Has anyone experienced this before?
  2. Giant City: Would it be worth heading down to Giant City to try my luck? How early should I arrive to have a realistic chance?
  3. iStudio: Is queuing at iStudio a better option? Does anyone know how early people usually start queuing? Which outlet has the best chance?
  4. Apple Store walk-in: I assume I’d have to queue for more than 48 hours to stand a chance, so I’m not sure if that’s realistic.
Which option would you recommend?

Would really appreciate any advice or experiences from previous launch days, especially from fellow Singapore Apple fans!

Just want to get my phone on launch day at retail price. 🥲

that is the nature scene in singapore, either you buy through your own effort via competing with others or pay a premium over it.

Last resort is to wait the hype die down.

Likewise for those that ordered from Courts (like me), anyone gotten any delivery schedule?
I called them and they can't give an estimate, The online delivery team will only call u once they have schedule ready. and the CS don't have an estimate of when that will be.

Apple Online store put check back for availability on 10.24 for pickup.

Maybe will have a small limited quantity of restocks on sat? But what time restock not sure.
