Iphone ringer indicator problem

recently i have this problem where the ringer indicator (in silent mode) will vibrates on and off after i switch to silent. Even when i m not doing anything in silent mode, it will just vibrates on and off with the indicator flashing on the screen.

have anyone encounter this before? is it possible to do a one to one exchange if its still within warranty?

This is a hardware problem. Your silent switch is "loose" that's why. Loose as in the internal ribbon has came loose.

You should bring it back to get it exchanged. The most likely thing that will happen is that they will open up the phone and check.

But before you bring it to get it exchanged, try to replicate the issue and video it down. Never trust the back room staffs.
