If I were to fail my ippt throughout during my bmt, will I need to redo my bmt again ?

No need, iirc BMT u need to clear 2 out of 3 criteria. IPPT, BTP and field camp.

It's a common tactic for BMT commanders to scare recruits that they will have to redo BMT until they pass IPPT. There's no such thing.
Last time my unit commanders also keep saying those who never pass IPPT will extend their ORD until they pass.

You just need to clear 2 out of the 3 criteria, IPPT, BTP and field camp.
However, failing your IPPT will greatly affect your chance of going to command school (If you are aiming for it)

No, usually only out of course then need to redo. An example is where someone gets serious injuries during BMT then down PES, but after recovery his PES is up again and he may be sent to redo BMT again.
