Iqoo is actually a subsidiary of Vivo, not Oppo.

Though ultimately they all belong to BBK Electronics.

It is nice though. China rom needs to download the play store assuming it is like the iq007.

If you want Video OIS, the Vivo X60 Pro will do very well with the Gimbal and Zeiss branded lens.

sd870 should be less power consuming and heat.

Been eyeing since iQoo7 but putting it off as there's no GMS, gotta DIY install.

Was also watching their livestream sale on TB last night, this phone certainly looks promising, just no GMS lol.

Anyone knows if I were to DIY install GMS, does Google Pay SG / Google Calendar works (alerts on time)? LOL...

Dont know about iQoo8 but from my experience with Oppo Find X3 (non pro, sd870 CN ver) yes Google Pay and Google Calender works fine. The only problem is that u are limited to only 5 apps for auto launching. For some apps, apart from notification settings, allowing it to run in the background, battery optimisation turned off, u need to allow auto launch for notifications to be timely. Google Calendar is one of them.
