It'll be tough if you do not have the slightest ideal of how computer's work. Computer Science can be challenging to some as they will touch of different sorts of algorithm for different uses, like Searching Algorithm.

he is alrdy working for many years. so i don't think the question is relevant to him. How much time u spend on studying CS depends on what your goal is. some ppl just aim for a pass so don't really care. some people aim for straight A so every day mug.

Until I understood.Why do you need to care how much time you need to spend ? It's a lifelong craft, you can never finish understanding it. Even if you revisit something you have visited long time ago, you can discover new concepts to it, which it might or might not be there in the first place. The journey is a never-ending exploration, and you will only not feel tiresome doing it if you love it in the first place. Why do you never need to care if it's core or non-core CS ? It's knowledge, all are equal. It only matters how you use them.
