Suppose someone gets sued into bankruptcy. Or he gets into an accident and is liable to make compensation that makes him bankrupt. Can his creditors make claims on his HDB flat? I know CPF is safe from creditors. Not sure about HDB.
HDB flats are partially protected against creditors. It depends on the circumstances. If at least one of the HDB leaseholders is a Singaporean citizen, and if there is no creditor lien specifically against the HDB flat (bank mortgage or HDB loan), then the flat is protected. Otherwise, probably not.
