Ppl advised me dun buy this lousy China brand already but I din listen.

I bot this L460 just 2 wks ago with the online promo
I was installing Win7 last nite and suddenly it shut down by itself.

After that the laptop refuses to power up anymore. What a dud.

The current nite promo like not as attractive, but maybe something changed.
Cos the Feb promo was $774 for base i3 cpu, 4Gb ram and the 256Gb ssd.
I added another 4Gb ram, upgraded to 9-cell batt and to 500Gb normal hdd, paid about $830.

Got $1 bag, and $1 wifi mouse and free conference call headset.

I like the laptop (haven't heard the fan so far actually but this issue usually comes with age) but I think I got a lemon or something.

I also like to know. Thinking of getting the LENOVO YOGA 720 15 if it's available here, cheaper and better than the DELL XPS 15 2017

How's LENOVO laptop quality generally?

Do they breakdown often or maybe breakdown after a year?

Do they have a service center here or they (like DELL) will send a technician over to your house for troubleshooting/repair?

How's their technical support? Locally or go through a call center? If call center where is it? Philippines or India?

but still dualboot for both OS did u try to clean format and make sure that there isn't any conflict? next did u see any charging light when plug to a power source?

I have some diy pc knowledge. Yes, I brought down all partitions merged into one single original hdd size then "chopped" it equally into half.

No charging light, no nothing at all. Jin sian.

well not chopped or what, its the dual boot system issues, like older OS with newer OS that kind of issues.

Ok...let me go and recustomise the specs again...hope for i5, 8gb ram and 512 SSD and the 6 cell 72whr battery.
