Restart modem many times liao no red all green led. Pc also restart too. Router show wan connect internet, pc also shows connected icon but surf site cant be reach

i set my window dns 8.8.8.8 now can liao
but why my asus router use google dns suddenly cannot.
it was fine before then

lan > dns server 1 and dns server 2
now can surf.

anyone know the different in setting dns in wan and in lan?

New 10gbps or the normal 2Gbps plan? For the 10Gbps, you cannot turn on both modem and router together, need to turn on the modem first, wait for like 3mins, then can turn on router to work.

Noob here, why use Google DNS? Can block youtube ads?

Google DNS servers have better redundancy and they bypass any restrictions set by the local governments.

They cannot block YouTube ads because Youtube belongs to them. Why would they want to kill their own revenues?

Just use the Brave browser to have a better experience at YouTube.
