China has unveiled a revolutionary invention: Pure Solid Gold — a lab-created gold that’s purer than natural gold and four times harder. Unlike mined gold, it doesn’t scratch, fade, or tarnish, challenging the very concept of what gold is worth.

then what will happen to gold price if it can be created in a lab

They can even made fake egg liao.
But the actually use of gold is highly doubt, the conductivity of current on circuit board?

There are synthetic stuff everywhere, from stone, wood to meat. The choice is yours

Elemental gold (AU)? Scientifically possible but would cost more than gold itself. Another CSB from Choy-na. Guys. I still have high respect for your intellect.

Everything can be recreated in lab, if the conditions are right.

Transmutation of gold is extremely expensive.

So it's not AU? But a different element altogether? In that case, it won't be the same, but if it can replace gold in industrial uses, then maybe it can affect the value of gold by means of increasing supply.

You have synthetic oil for decades since world war 2 but we are still pumping crude oil
You have plastic but we still use other materials.
You have synthetic fiber but we still use cotton.
You have synthetic digital assets but we still use cash.
You have synthetic gold but we still keep gold.

Both have their uses.
