Bought Ryzen 5 5500 from a so called "Tech" guy two years ago. It's a China set without warranty with Chinese stickers but $50 cheaper than usual. Delivery took 2 weeks despite it stating that it is a local set. The long wait really annoyed me that time as I had everything assembled except for the missing cpu. A Filipino maid delivered it to my home. Luckily it worked for the first time.
Filipino maid delivery? This sounds like someone selling on Lazada/ Shopee from home, take your order, and buy from Taobao/ AliExpress, then when delivered, get his/ her helper to do delivery to you. I do agree that some of these CPU sellers on Lazada/ Shopee are offering these CPUs cheaper because they are China set.

I don't think this Techa work this way. At least from what I have gone through and read here, they may be just placing orders directly with the distro when they receive an order. So they don't need to store them somewhere. But the flipside is that they are at the mercy of stock availability and distro to deliver to them.

Usually if it is cheaper than usual, it is probably an export set from China without warranty even though they stated local warranty.

They don't have ready stock and will only order from some China site when someone orders it. From there, they make about $20-$50 bucks profit. Therefore delivery takes longer than usual. Must as well buy it myself from Aliexpress or something. Such deceptive sellers should not be existing on Lazada.
I bought from them before, it is slightly cheaper and normally will reach you between 1 to 3 days. Just probably just flip from distro so you still get local warranty, I remember I verified with the distro before for one of the item. But everything buy from lazada just be careful, from their CS mouth, if any seller default on the claimed warranty they will still let them oeprate because it is not their problem. Got scammed once because of that already.
