Hi All,

Need advise below before i confirm my order for my NEW DIY CPU.
Is the MOBO+GPU+RAM+PSU ok with OC?

I wish i could overclock above 4.00 Ghz

No ssd/hdd? Or reusing?

If you are gonna OC, you would need AIO cooler. If not gonna OC, drop to i5-4570 and b85m g43.

For the case, its personnal preference, so no problems.

Yes.. i have SSD already.. i will get this as well Corsair H100i Hydro Cooling Performance.

Just wondering did i miss out anything or not. is the RAM OK for OC up to 4.00 Ghz? im new to OC world

4ghz don't really need the h100i. A normal air cooler will do.

Anything above 4.4 then will need.

And BTW fyi the z87 gaming you don't need to own self set anything to oc. Just go bios press the oc genie button it will set for you at 4ghz.

With a xigmatek gaia I'm still able to get good idle temps an max load not more than 70degrees for 4ghz oc.

4ghz stock cooler oso can.
4.5ghz need big air or aio watercool usually
5ghz muz 拜天公 or use LN/phase change
