Hope this is not a silly question, but does anyone measure the temperature of the water from the water dispenser to ensure it is working according to specifications?
I have been using the 3M water dispenser for a little over a year now, using it to make formula for my baby. I have always assumed that it was working fine since I've only measured the final temperature of his feed. Recently someone commented that it was not as hot compared to her own and so I finally measured it and found that the water is only 72 degrees, as opposed to the 85-90 degrees in the specs. I am unfortunately out of warranty and will have to pay over 300 dollars to fix it. Although I am quite sure it has been that since day-1 since I have not had to change the proportion of hot vs room water temperature for my child's feed.
Is it a norm to check it in that way? Really frustrated with myself and hoping the water was OK for my baby.
