Once in a while, my CPU cannot read my hard disk. I have 1 SSD where my OS is installed. 1 WD green 500GB HDD for downloaded files and 1 1TB Toshiba HDD where my apps are installed.

Recently my Toshiba HDD will be missing from my list of drives and any applications installed on the HDD cannot be read. Sometimes a simple restart of the computer solves it but at times I need to wait a day or 2 instead. Any idea what is happening?
