Issues with registering with Face ID

Have been using my Xs since Dec last year.

Phone is generally ok without any dropping or anything.

Recently discovered that the Face ID is not working and I tried to re register but having issues with it.

Any advice ?

Phone is updated to the latest version and have rebooted the phone many times

Thanks for the advice. Went to geniusbar at Jewel and they replaced a phone for me on the spot.
