no need to argue de....I got a number of PRC friends and colleagues and their measures are just extreme, lockdown means lockdown, they will make sure u comply by hook or by crook

my point is it has nothing to do with the country's size...US cannot do what China is doing because it is not authoritarian

they do it on a city level....when there is no cases, they will relax

but when there is an outbreak, HO SEH, they will lockdown and test all (they don care how many millions)....my colleague wanted to go back to Xi'an, then there suddenly lockdown, everything on hold (previously, also heard frens complaining about such extreme measures in Tianjin, Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing)

that's their covid zero strategy which I find it dumb, how long more can they keep up? I think cos their vax is weak
