I think I going either evo or plextor m5 xtreme. Now gotta hunt for cheapest deal

Or get one of those Intel 530 w 5y warranty from heaps of fellas selling in Marketplace, pretty good value. U won't be able to tell a difference in performance vs other brands.

yes. correct.

lowest i seen is $195-$200 BNIB reseller kit. 5yrs international warranty.

I got Plextor M5Pro 128GB at $152 in Dec 2013 from Tradepac.

I got a Samsung 830 128GB for more than a year ago and use it as a boot drive... Don't think will ever go back... :)
Get the cheapest SSD as real world you will not notice much diff. For desktop, 128GB will do I feel as most data will still go to your HDD?
I recently got the transcend 340 256GB for my laptop as it is the only drive on it. No more HDD as boot drive for me :)
