Thanks all and yes tried to do a win 11 check but not compatible with it.
Just bought a 8gb ddr3 ram from
Carousell and bought the sata ssd, wifi adapter from Shopee. Will a fresh installation of win 10 help with the speed or minimal impact? The current ssd with windows already maxing out the 128gb capacity.
Yes do a fresh install of Windows 10 than install drivers if you know how to.
Fresh install of Windows will speed everything up else is bascially everything fresh.
No cache or rubbish from old Windows install if you clone over.
1) Update motherboard BIOS if you know how to if not skip.
Before you update BIOS take note of the motherboard REV.
2) Install Windows 10 while PC is offline.
(*Take out LAN cable than you can install driver properly)
(*Make sure UEFI mode is enable in the motherboard as UEFI is faster than CSM/Legacy mode.
Diabled the CSM support than under the Windows 8 Features set Win 8
Secure boot put to enable as Windows require this for security features.)
- Intel Chipset (This is for motherboard chipset to work properly)
- Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI)
- Intel LAN -> WIFI -> BT
- Realtek Audio
- Nvidia Graphic driver
3) Connect to internet run Windows update make sure everything is up to date.

And done that's it.
It may take 1 or 2 hours to get everything.
For the system drivers just take note you do not need the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) or AHCI driver.
This generation the Intel storage driver have some issues so recommended not to install.
I did have a H97/Z97 recently here such PC is still usuable for day to day or light gaming.
