Japanese and Australian PM to meet PM Modi in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrisonare planning to hold a virtual summit that is expected to focus on reliable supply chains, defence ties, trade pact, critical mineral supply besides high-tech and Indo-Pacific partnership.


While dates are yet to be finalised the virtual meet is expected to be scheduled later this month after Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's India visit on March 19 and 20, ET has learnt.

Supply chains, Indo-Pacific defence partnership, Australian export of critical minerals and high-tech cooperation are expected to top the agenda of the virtual summit.
