Anyone know how to upgrade the os on keitai (007sh & f-02e) to the latest kitkat? Is it possible to do it out of japan and without the proper softbank/docomo simcard?

Those Sharp models sold here are not really Japanese models...

Causes my friend from Japan came and saw the model on display at a telco shop and she told me it wasn't sold it Japan but more towards Hong Kong and Taiwan market... Sharp Aquos Android phones sold in Japan are exclusive only for Japan...

She's using a Panasonic and Sharp Android phone by the way... I not sure what model but their design is very simple but specs wise, like screen and camera is a boom...

Is there any reasons for owning a keitai nowadays btw?

Its the experience, and can say most Japanese phones have solid feel which you can never get in the Korean and China manufactured popular phones here...

Same case like why some people buy a Bentley or Rolls Royce in Singapore when they can actually choose a BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi, Saab, Jaguar, Inifinity or Lexus (and many more)...
