You know how to use, it is good. U don't know, it is a monster. Weblogic, websphere, tomcat, glassfish, jboss, resin. All of these are servlet containers, most people don't even use the full j2ee ear deployment, just war.

There are so many options out there today of interoperating between systems that I don't even think we can ever think of just the server stack hosting every technologies.

Good in what sense?

From personal experience, I do know that many large enterprises use Oracle WebLogic, but some are also using JBoss. Smaller deployments and SMEs may use Tomcat without the JavaEE features for web applications.

A simple Google search yields this:

Current market share statistics as per 2014. My interpretation is that there is a move towards lighter stack like Tomcat and Jetty, and heavy app servers are falling out of favour (e.g. Oracle WebLogic and IBM Websphere), though they will live on in legacy production systems in the large enterprises.
