just use those hotel booking apps... filter using the area u want to stay and price range... then read up on the reviews...

The hotels that i stayed in Jeju got good location... Ocean Suite Jeju and First70... but unfortunately i wun recommend coz I dun like the old room furnishings... not up to my liking... but they are walking distance to night markets and shopping areas... convenient if u like to walk around at night...

Next to Ocean Suite Jeju is a big Emart and also a 24hr hypermart that specialized in bulk/big sizes like those 5L jam/sauces for restaurants/shops... mega size potato chips etc

Ocean Suite and First 70 are old?

Not sure if the hotels are old or not... but the interior room furnishings looks and feels dated... Outside looks ok...

Actually is acceptable lah... just that I am fussy...

I stayed in Hotel Leo.. quite decent hotel and affordable price. There are many direct buses to airport, abut 10 mins taxi ride to airport, less than 5000won. Staff can speak English and mandarin and are quite helpful. Beds are comfy and room comes with LG styler.

Not walking distance to dongmun market though, about half an hour bus ride.

Hi, your are most welcome. I ate twice near the hotel. Had BHC (much cheaper in Korea I think) and black pork BBQ restaurant called Jung Jong Jeju black pork BBQ (about 5 mins drive, can walk but it's a bit far). The BBQ is quite affordable and the black pork is delicious. I also went to Dongmun market to try their street food.

For seogwipo, I had stay before at shin shin jeju hotel (previously known as ocean palace jeju hotel), not too bad. Room is clean and if you get the family room it’s quite big, come with kitchen and dining table. 1st floor got 711. Walkable distance to Olle market. I going to try ocean suites this time, hopefully it’s good.

Yes the room is very big... I booked the Family Twin... i comes with 2 queen size beds in the main room... and has another smaller empty room... can easily fit in another 2 extra beds if they allow... I used it to store our luggages and boxes and stroller...

The furnishings are indeed a little bit dated... but for short stay I guess is ok... The location is quite good... walking distance to their shopping street and black port street... and just next to it got a very big Emart and a huge 24h hypermart... can do last min shopping until late then walk back to hotel...

I stayed in 2 hotels for my 5D4N stay in Jeju… I think ideally it is better to do the south first then move north so that it is nearer to the airport on the day of departure… but this is a personal preference… u can do any way that u find best suit ur schedule and routes…

The First70 Hotel… good thing abt this hotel is its proximity to the Olle Night Market… it is also near to a multi story car park… our hotel basement car park quite small so hotel reception directed us to park there… and they will reimburse us the parking fee… room also quite spacious…

Just some notes on how I select my hotels… I usually choose hotels that are near to night market or shopping areas… I like to go walk walk in the evening or have supper nearby even though have car to drive out coz i can't see very well at night... so what i usually do is just open up google map to see which decent 3-5star hotels within my budget that are near where i want to loiter around at night...
