How u guys calculate the expected salary?

Let's say I earn 6k with aws, offer is 7.5k without aws, can accept ?

Let's assume the rest of the benefits the same

7.5k no aws = 90k PA

if like this calculate .. only $458 increae p/m so chiu can decide whether worth it or not.

1. $6 aws means 13 months : $78,000
2. $7.5k no aws means 12 months : $90,000

I just posted a thread like 2 days ago on someone I know who went for interview and was offered $1k more than his current drawn ... current company got AWS + bonus 1 month based on past few years, potential new employer no AWS but bonus 1 month based on past few years.

He rejected the potential new employer’s offer, told them he wants $1.5k more than current drawn then he will jump, because his current company got AWS + bonus. Thing is, his current drawn x 14 is still a bit less than the potential new employer’s offer x 12.

Last I heard, the potential new employer told him to go fly kite already

Not all companies offer AWS. Some actually include it into their salary instead. Its good thing since you dont need to wait 1year to get it. If you leave after 6 months, you got 2 weeks worth of aws.
