Anwar 78yo, older the SM LHL.
Lucky RTS is Jan 27, anything later may stall.

I said for over a year, the Malay majority there, their sentiments have changed negatively. Johor don't represent the entire Malaysia and the Chinese businesses being happy and smiley at you, don't mean the entire Malaysia are happy, or even the Malays in jb are happy.

Law and customs are controlled by the Malaysia government, not Johor. So it's no surprise that we will soon go back to require mdac, stamp passport. Foreigners taking advantage of Malaysia creating security risk, eroding malay culture and rights, and bla bla are always their favorite weapons to make our lives difficult.

Johor progress with Singapore was due to the stars were aligned. Sultan of Johor is the king of Malaysia and Anwar is the pm. The former is the bigger influence not because he is kind is because he wants to sell his overhang properties to silly sinkies. Anwar used to hate sg with Mahathir. It's basically a political agreement because being pm must be agreed by the king of something. :(

BN only had 30 seats last ge iirc. If BN wins much more seats, which they likely will, they will be the ones deciding who to partner for the coalition, not PH. And yes we will be back to having the original Malay centered Malaysia.

How Malaysia works is the politicians want to get power to get more dirty money. All those progress are secondary and chaos is not necessary bad. :(

JB is sultan 说的算。you see forest city is a good example
You need to understand the powers of monarchy better.

Much of Johor land are directly owned by the royal family, and the sultan can determine the type of use

Your analysis way off.. When Najib was PM he was the one who actually worked closely with SG. He sold off the land of KTM to sg ..etc.

Anwar not malay centric ? In fact he even more extreme than Umno policy toward chinese and indian after he became PM if you follow malaysia politics. Especially allocation of university places to non chinese students in fact he even make it lesser. Pre election days he champion a fairer system and policies for all races.

The fact Anwar try to be more malay centric is simple, his own party is weak and in his coalition, the biggest party is DAP which is a chinese party, this mean he has difficulties winning especially malay votes. So all these policies are done to appeal to malay voters that he is champion of malay rights.

Under BN, MCA is always a smaller party inside BN .. so the perception of Chinese overriding or controlling BN doesnt exist to malay voters. That is why Umno can win more malay votes more than Anwar harapan.

The election result in east malaysia and johor sum it all up.. the non chinese many already dun trust DAP. Their pre election promise before they form the gov especially important one they totally didnt deliver.

He's too old for the next round. There is no talent at all in BolehLand. The good ones come out, left over those rottens. Those inside craving for power only. Hack care the people. :( BN just stuff $$ during elections, because they knows many are greedy and naive citizens. After election, they take back $$from the country's coffers.

What ever party is in, the same old thingy. Business as usual. Chinese forever have no standing position.

They are all the same. Things are done in a way, got head , no tail. Start off with grand fanfare , than ending to nowhere.

That will be another potential safety issue to be worry next. Reduce maintenance may lead other problems that may endanger the safety of the passengers. That is a typical happening managed by corrupt leaders.
