Hi guys, i am using the Jonsbo RM 3 and with my specs --->, the case is super hot to touch (the aluminium panels at the top) when i am gaming. The temp of the CPU is about 60 while the GPU is about 70. The exhausted air top and back blows warm air out though.

I know this is the normal temp of the CPU and GPU under load but i would like to ask fellow RM3 users if they have changed the orientation of the back or top fans. I have thought of changing the top fan from exhaust to intake and leaving only the back fan as exhaust (positive pressure). i cannot change the back fan to intake as it will only suck in the hot air blown out from the psu.

i actually thought of adding one more intake fan at the bottom panel (stacking the one and only intake fan there to double the air pressure but don't know if it works.

nothing u can do, limited airflow is limited :/
also nothing to worried about the alu panel being hot.
its suppose to conduct heat better than normal steel casing.

aluminum 118
vs
steel 17

60 CPU and 70 GPU isn't bad

TS.. have you try configure the lower and rear fan of 120mm to be intake and the top one 140mm is the exhaust?

yeah, i like the case very much thus have to make do with the bad airflow. thank you for the link to let me understand more. :D

yup yup, its the norm for such temps. just wanna try to make the airflow better. haha

i thought of this configuration too as i have came across a chinese website on a user changing the rear fan as intake and use the top one (bigger @ 140mm) as the only exhaust. This way, i will have positive pressure thus lesser dust though i feel the warm air from the PSU below might get suck in by the rear fan. haha. i may try it out and monitor if really affects the temp.

TS, the default fans come with RM3 are good for general use without gaming. For gaming, you need to invest in quality fans like Corsair, Gentle Typhoon or Phanteks for better air flow in the cramped RM3.

yup yup. i changed all the fans when i bought this case because i want blue led fans haha. The 2 120mm ones are Thermaltake Riing 12 and the 140mm one is Corsair (forget AF/SP). I have set the bottom one to run 100% all times.
