You only travel to Japan? Don’t go to other countries?
I have been to cities in the UK, France, Italy, Switzerland and Australia.

In Japan, I can get excellent food, incredible scenery (got the Alps like Switzerland), four seasons to choose from, and safer travelling alone.

It is possible/easier to explore the whole country (33 out of 47 prefectures visited). Compared to if I were to travel to Europe, I could only cover the major cities of each European country.

Watched ytd but find he never show much about kinugawa Onsen. Maybe not a lot to feature there. But the abandoned buildings quite freaky.

My April trip going sazaedo pagoda partly bcos last time he feature.
I guess the crew has to take into account the time they have at each place of interest.

This journey series is quite realistic/real as the crew shows us how the place really is instead of just showing the best condition.

Seeing them encounter the rainy weather reminds me of what travelling is about. One has to accept the imperfections in life and enjoy each moment.

Good or not this channel
i can tell you that there are many channels on tourism in japan, and many are a little on the boring side and some just tend to repeat the same old locations like everyone else. this is one of the few that are quite entertaining.

this guy do a lot of travel to abandoned sites which are often not shown by other channels. but his voice is quite soft and sometimes hard to hear. but locations are great and videography pretty good.

credit especially for his originality and solid homework. it gives depth to a place.

When planning for my last Tohoku trip, I was hoping to see Chris in person and say hi if I happened to encounter him at Sendai, but he has relocated to Tokyo.
