The weather is scorching hot!
For those visiting the place soon, take note that most money-exchange services in post offices, banks and shopping centers do not accept SGD. I made a few wasted visits to those places before being directed to Bank of Taiwan (Taichung Branch) at the junction of Minsheng Road and Ziyou Road (Can check at Google map - walking distance from Taichung TRA station)

Taichung City, Taiwan 403
The bank operates on weekdays only and closes at 3.30pm. Money changing counter is at 2nd level; need to fill in a form before joining the queue. Quite a hassle. Will be posting pictures and updates on my visit soon.
