Msged them on Facebook 3 days ago want to find out more about what is my broadband recontract offer if there is any. I couldn’t find an email address to reach them at, I didn’t want to call the hotline and be put on hold for endless minutes and so I msged them on fb as stated in their website.

They usually only reply once a day in their fb messenger and so after providing all the details of myself and what was my request, some details I provided like 2 times even, the last reply from them yesterday was “For recontract, please call our M1 Shop Hotline at 1623, available between 9am to 9pm daily. 😊

Alternatively, may also head down M1 Shop.”

They could have just told me from the start right for recontract to call their hotline directly. Instead of spending days asking for my request and then my details when the first day I msg them, I already said it has to do with recontract

They have redesigned their automated hotline to make you give up and hangup so they don't have to bother with customers.

Best method is go website and queue in the chat, sure way to get a customer support agent unless the chat disconnects you which is more likely if u use the chat through their m1+ app then you need to queue again.

My guess is many people use the app and get disconnected because it happened to me when I tried it, but when I tried website my queue jumped from 90+ to 50+ to 20+. Either many people gave up waiting or got disconnected.

I stopped at the message when they asked for my full details including NRIC etc.

I already knew these were time-wasting tactics.

As what I mentioned in other threads, I am counting down to porting out my remaining lines to SIM only lines.

M1 has become a pale shadow of itself.

And I could not transfer one of my line even though I was at their main shop. Said the system cannot process account transfer.

You can use the M1 app to check your early recontract and contract end date.
