I have a JXD 7800.......basically a 7 inch version of the 5800 without GSM fuctions and slightly better speccs. Few cons which i think applies to the 5800 as well. Firstly, bulky in terms of weight and design which makes bringing it around for outside usage a problem. Next, JXD provides pathetic firmware support for their products. So you are pretty much ****ed if the default firmware came with major issues and if nobody out there bothers to cook some kind of custom firmware. And the biggest deal breaker? JXD are known to release products with hardware issues. Already i am reading that the initial batches of 5800 came with directionpad and button issues and JXD are initiating a recall of stock from retailers. Unless you really want a cheaper alternative to nvidia shield or xperia play, i say stay away from jxd products.
