KHH, CJ, TPE

Hi bros, need some advise here. I am planning a 7 days trip to Taiwan. See itinerary below:

Dec 31 - SG to KHH (3 nights)
Jan 3 - Check out KHH, train from Zuoying HSR -> TC HSR -> Cingjing (1 night)
Jan 4 - Cingjing -> TC HSR -> TPE (3 nights)
Jan 7 TPE -> Taoyuan Airport

Is it true that travelling from KHH to CingJing require around 4hrs of travelling?
Is it too rush?

You probably can leave KHH early for TC via hsr. The journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hrs.

From tc hsr to cingjing will take 1.5 to 2 hrs using taxi. You may want to tour nantou before going up cingjing, like the chocolate factory.

thanks for the reply. is it really worth to have a night stay at CJ? or i should do a day trip at CJ then return to TC for a night stay?

I feel that the travelling eats up alot of the time. I scared too rush for CJ. Or i should extend to 2 days at TC, one of the days will go CJ?

if you're going with children, the children will like CJ's green green grassland. There are lots of sheeps there, and horses too!

Else, you may consider just going to TC and spend the day and night there.

if never been before, is better to stay one night and one night is enough as there is nothing much to do. more like a rural place to enjoy the starry night.
