Kusatsu onsen

Hi,

Anyone been to kusatsu onsen?
Is it worth going?
Cost abt 11k yen for roundtrip per pax....

Been to hakone.... So would like to try other onsen.

Only if you have JR pass perhaps, coz while it's interesting to see the onsen water 'massaging', it is not very outstanding beyond the spectacle, unlike Hakone which has the whole odawara area with great scenery etc.

It is nice for a relaxing weekend trip.

If you are going there, and you are not using JR Pass, you can go get the JR Kanto Area Pass.

There are a few ways of going to that onsen, see here:

I have kusatsu onsen shortlisted too. like samtcy said, get the JR Kanto Pass at Yen 8000(3days)
