Laminate cert / transcript

Hi all, do you think it's a good idea to laminate my academic cert or transcript? Would it void the validity if I'm required to submit to government agency for job application etc?

i haven't laminate my cert and transcript but i don't think it will void the validity for any govt agency job application if u were to laminate them. go interview i will send them my hard-scanned hardcopy. Once scanned, it will be saved in your lappy/pc.
