Hi friends of HWZ, i will be requiring a laptop for minitab, which requirements based on its website:
  • Operating System Windows 7 SP 1 or later, Windows 8 or 8.1, Windows 10.
  • RAM 2 GB.
  • Processor Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon™ Dual Core, with SSE2 technology.
  • Hard Disk Space 2 GB (minimum) free space available.
  • Screen Resolution 1024 x 768 or higher.

It is more like a learning practice laptop for minitab, and i dont really want to spend much money on it, narrowing down to Acer N15V2

  • Intel Celeron N3050 1.6 GHz
  • Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Personal 1-Year Subscription
  • 2GB of DDR3L Onboard Memory
  • 64 GB Internal Storage
  • 14-Inch HD Screen, Intel HD Graphics, 12-hour battery life

Do you think it will work?

Yes. Based on the system requirements. Even the lowest end cloud book and netbook should work.

For practice, your dataset wouldn't be too big too, likely 10 MB or below.

If you're crunching gigabyte and terabyte size dataset, then obviously get a more powerful machine.
