Hi Guys,

I would be using the laptop for:
1) intensive autocad, photoshop, 3D max softwares (heavy rendering)
2) watch streaming video and surf Internet.

Budget will be 2K.

Hope you guys can recommend me a laptop that will suit my need.

Thanks in advance.

Does it necessary to have a Quadro card?
Can i use a gaming card instead?

of course u can, but Quadro is optimised for 3D rendering. ur rendering might not be as efficient if u use a gaming card

Still u can check out aftershock. 2K is a bit tight for a laptop with a reasonably powerful graphics card

If you are happen to use Autodesk Revit, there's actually cloud rendering :o thus, there isnt a need to physically render it on your laptop.

Quadro isnt really needed though. It's very well optimised for those particular applications mentioned but correct me if I am mistaken, are often a few generations behind mainstream grapics cards.

I would suggest a GTX10_ _ series instead.

Update:
Some addtional reads Quadro 1000m vs Gtx1060 https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/comments/58tmr0/quadro_m1000m_vs_gtx_1060/
