I own a acer 4750g for quite some time now and am currently entering my poly years . I'm only gonna use a laptop for work/shows thus I really don't see the point of buying a another laptop . I've googled abit and some say it's possible to replace the 14" screen with a 1080 one(currently have a 1366) . It seems parts are of wide availability on the net but I don't think I'm confident enough to swap it myself . So does anyone have any idea if any shops in simlim or funan does such upgrades ? thx

To be honest, if you are using on the go, I don't see the need to upgrade the screen of the laptop. Usually it cost more than buying a monitor. If you are using it at home, might as well just get another monitor. At least you can use it with another rig/ laptop next time. If you upgrade the monitor on the laptop, you may not be able to use the monitor elsewhere if it goes down.
