Laptop Summary-ish 2016

Since the original thread in the PC Show 2016 special events page got removed from the forum, I've decided to share this information here instead where it might not get deleted. in light of the upcoming COMEX 2016.

This is a general summary for those who are looking for new laptops but aren't sure what to expect out there. Of course, this summary doesn't include physical aspects of the laptop that you should be checking out irl, like the feel of the keyboard, size of bezel, texture of the laptop, etc. Also, the prices are as advertised in brochures, and do not include any possible haggling that you might be able to do But i think for those who are looking for a new laptop, just like me during the PC Show, this consolidated information should help a bit in making that decision.

Also, if you guys are interested in making any changes to this list, please feel free to comment on the changes I should make on the file itself and i'll make the improvements when i can

not completely sure. hopefully they do come out soon, considering that they deliver so much more processing at so much less power consumption. sounds like a dream for gaming laptops.

How I wish we can get those A10-A12 AMD laptops/notebooks into SG.

personally i haven't been much of a amd fan since my previous laptop's amd graphics fried after first year of use (that may have been my fault though). but if they do produce better cpus and gpus and integrate that well into a laptop at competitive prices, then it'll make for a good bargain. the rx480 hasn't been mind-blowing though, still waiting for something good with the new zen architecture, but that's still a while away.
