Dear Sifu,

My laptop usb port went kaput. Any shop to get this fix by replacing the usb port only? Changing MB is very expensive....

Is it physically damaged that you observed? Or just not functioning? If it's not working, the problem may not just be the port itself, but something deeper like other related ICs & components on the motherboard.

How old is the laptop, might not be worth the repair for anything more than 3 years unless its high spec. Do you use both port often? if your mouse require to use one, consider changing to a bluetooth mouse.
