Assuming no Lazada spend, the 5% back on Dining, Entertainment and Transport only works up to $500 of spend.

Not a good card unless you are already a regular Lazada user. I only buy from RedMart (here they are only giving 2%).

Worst thing about Lazada (and Shopee) vouchers is that if a RedMart item is not available, they will refund you less the voucher amount.

Received again so finally decide to give it a try. $30 Lazada credit still ok I think unless need minimum spend to get then add one more card in my collection collect dust. Immediate approval for me wait to get card.

Itchy hand never read the fine terms and conditions the 2 x 15 is one order 15 minimum buy 100 wow means to get total 30 must pay 200! Into my drawer gather dust. Now wait for Mari Credit Card.

Saw the Lazada voucher. Spend 60 minus 6 using this card. Shopee spend 8 minus 1 no need specific card. Seem Lazada marketing team target higher spending customers. They dunno small spenders becuz small value for each order tend to do multiple buys when tally end of month also a lot leh. I know. 薄利多销 simple strategy in use for decades by sellers.

Hope Mari Credit card give better voucher. Maybe no minimum spend minus X cap at YY ?

The gift card has a bunch of exclusions, certain categories of items cannot be bought

15% off lazada spend capped at $20 means $134 needs to be spent on lazada per month. Add the $45 lazada gift card and this becomes $179 on average per month

5% off dining / entertainment / transport capped at $25 means $500 needs to be spent on those categories per month

overall it’s $45 off 700 min spend which is decent (6.4%)

however it’s ultimately **not really** a “lazada card”…. It’s more of a dining / entertainment/ transport card since you have to spend $500 on those categories

From this we can see that gift cards expire after 180 days (6 months)

They don't even do any credit check becuz when I mistaken apply and I want to check my credit report they say UOB never request so I cannot get my latest credit report for free. So it is like lelong to get more customers.

They don't do credit check is up to them.

But forcing card onto users they didn't apply for and requires manual intervention to reject it, isn't that illegal?

No need CBS check since there's no update or change to Credit Limit.
They will just use the same limit to tag all your current cards with UOB.

Got the Lazada card SMS today too. I had to re-read again cos I tot i read wrongly.

No leh for SCB got check leh even no change to credit limit. So I think different bank do differently. They check better so I can get free credit report mah.
