This is a long shot, but have you tried updating your mobo's bios? Maybe it'll work.

updated bios before. discovered the gpu slot latch is "dislocated". So lucky, managed to get the latch back in place, then reinsert gfx card. Then viola, it's recognized liao.
I think the latch is the impt factor that suddenly got the gfx recognized...

Latch? U mean at the back slots of the pci-e lane? But how can dislocated latch can prevent it from working?
