I'm currently using this touchbook without the touch function. I'll do a quick review in point form.

The Good:
Build Quality is awesome except that there are protruding edges but not much of a problem.
The battery life is awesome. Mine can last me around more than 7 hours of usage on battery alone.

The Bad:
Wifi not consistent
HDD slow when reading/writing

Just went sls and found the touchscreen version on sale for S$1399. matt screen version coming soon, will have a even thinner lcd cover. price should be slightly lesser than touchscreen one.

- i5 model
- default is fhd 1920x1080
- 4GB RAM. one and only single slot occupied
- 500GB with 8GB cache
- 2 year carry in warranty
- no sticker to prevent you from upgrading ram/HDD or add m.2 (NGFF) SSD drive.
- wifi n only.

From the looks of its specs, this seems to be a complete ultra book. Anyone can confirm if the chassis is metal? Cos if it's just plastic, I might go for zenbook ux32ln instead for better build quality. Thanks.

Yeah the whole chassis is metal. For the red colour version, its interior is black.

I'm using the red one too.

First laptop went completely dead 1day later. Just couldn't power on no matter what. Did an exchange and it's been serving me pretty well ever since!
