Hi, when I boot up my laptop, it turns white and slowly turns into a mix of blue-pink tint. I've already tried reconnecting the connector from the motherboard and the lcd screen but the problem remains.

I've tried connecting the laptop through an external display using HDMI cable and there's no issue with that.

Is it possible to say that the problem lies with the lcd display? Unfortunately my warranty has expired so I'm currently looking at other alternatives.

The link above is a picture of how the screen looks like after a couple of minutes.

well yes your LCD is spoil or gonna spoil, well if u still wanna use this monitor u probably have to go to those repair shops to replace it.

but if u know how to repair on your own, u can find parts in ebay, amazon and taobao for the parts to replace it.

either you search online for parts

or just use it as a rig to output external monitor.

no point going to lenovo to repair cos too expensive
