Any news of the launch promotions this week? Pricing?
Where did you hear that they are launching this week?

Not saying you're wrong, I haven't visited any electronics stores lately so I won't know, but I've not heard anything nor is there anything mentioned online that they are launching this week.

Went to best denki yesterday, 55C6T and signature 65" G6 is already out on display.
$5999 and $11499 respectively

I remembered this thread and decided to go take a look ... Best Denki Bishan only has C6, no G6. E6 not even out yet, sales guy says expecting next month :s8:

Absolutely no news about the B6. I have a sick feeling in my stomach that LG SG may not even release it here to try to force people to either buy curved if you want cheaper (which isn't cheap at all), or pay super-premium price for flat OLED.

There is a poster on xtremeplace forum who took a shot of the G6 in a Best Denki store but did not state the location.

LG's release or lead up to the release of the new 2016 OLED TVs has been horrible.

People in the US, UK and parts of Europe are already enjoying the G6, E6 and B6 while we get a lot of hot air.

Saw the G6 on display at Courts megastore at Tampines for 12999. I told the sales person that I only wanted the E6, salesperson called the LG rep and was told that the E6 will be coming out this week. Basically, can place pre-order for the E6.

Did the salesperson share the price of the E6?

The thing is, I really want a B6 because it is just the flat screen TV ... the E6 comes with built-in soundbar. I want the option to buy any damn soundbar I want ... at this time I'm leaning towards 1 of the Yamaha ones.

The Yamaha ones are sweet. They do need a squarish room to really simulate the surround effects well though.

The B6 has no 3D yeah?

Think of E6 soundbar as a very good set of integrated speakers. You can always connect another external soundbar.

What is the release price for E6 65"?

I made a call to LG and was referred to Gain City earlier and although they don't have any display set, I was quoted $8888 for the 65 inch E6 over the phone which I believe it to be the normal retail price. How many brave souls here willing to cough up an additional 2.5k over the Samsung KS9000 TV.

Hi Jeffong, just called GG Marina, spoke to salesman Ben, informed by him that they only had G6. After trading in all free gifts the final price is 9898. Called GG AMK, informed by the salesperson there, he had no pricing on E6.

To me, LG is doing a piss poor job with their marketing. The $8888 pricing was obtained from a sales person in GC Marina. Their flagship store did not bother to call me back after I left my details with them.

Think of it as looking at your TV and seeing under it 2 soundbars :s8:

I probably can't speak for everyone, but generally people do not like to pay for something they do not want or need ;)

On top of that, my feature wall is a storage feature wall and it has a specific TV "compartment" - I have a thread on this topic in here somewhere. An extra soundbar that I do not want or need will eat into the available space and I have to mount the TV about 1.5 to 2 inches higher than I would have to without the built-in soundbar.

Finally got a formal response from LG. The E6 series shipment only landed in Singapore yesterday and it will take another 2 weeks before it gets distributed out into the channel Folks who are interested can see it pop up in the 4th week of June hopefully.

Thanks for the info.

Hopefully the price is palatable (with discounts).
